ABOUT THE ARTIST

    Lauren Poppie is a woodcut relief printmaker based in Aspen, Colorado. Working primarily in woodcut relief printmaking, she creates original wood carvings and hand-pulled prints that capture the beauty of the natural world around her. Her work spans a variety of nature scenes and wildlife, from migrating elk and mountain ridges to the quiet detail of pine bark. Through bold linework and rich texture, Poppie explores the resilience and rhythm found in Western landscapes and wildlife.
